001 FLAP: Flap is readily recognisable because of a vertical cut from the top to almost half way down the dorsal fin, creating a large flap – a clean cut most likely a result of a boat strike, which occasionally still oozes blood and is very obvious, even at a distance. A regular with the local pod, first recorded from land based surveys on Granite Island in April 20th 2010. Gender is currently unknown
